The setting

Explore the Paso Robles wine region.

Dove Farms is fictional, so the map shows the real Paso Robles region that inspired the concept rather than a business location.

A fictional family winery

Tradition preserved, presentation renewed.

The Dove Farms concept imagines a family-owned Paso Robles winery where traditional cellar work and contemporary viticulture meet.

The original student website introduced the estate, six varietals, a wine club, news, and fictional press recognition. This rebuilt edition keeps the central story while giving it clearer navigation, stronger visual hierarchy, responsive behaviour, and a more focused hospitality experience.

“A place to taste, tour, and appreciate the landscape behind every bottle.”

Design process

From winery character to responsive structure.

The mood board establishes Dove Farms’ heritage-inspired visual language. The greyscale wireframe then translates that direction into a practical page hierarchy before colour, photography, interaction, and final styling are applied.

About this portfolio project

Original assignment, independently rebuilt.

Dove Farms began as a college website assignment completed through Sessions College coursework. This updated portfolio edition reorganizes the original fictional content into a modern one-page experience and demonstrates responsive Bootstrap development, accessible navigation, editorial art direction, and clearer conversion paths.

The rebuild also adds purposeful interaction design: navigation links respond with gentle animated movement, image details appear on hover or keyboard focus, content reveals progressively as visitors move through the page, and an integrated Google Map introduces the real Paso Robles region that inspired the fictional estate.

Dove Farms is not an operating winery or current client. Product descriptions, address, awards, hours, membership details, and contact information are presented only as part of the fictional concept.
